Nano Koloid has conducted many scientific studies in cooperation with universities in Poland such as: Warsaw University of Technology, Polish Academy of Science, Warsaw University of Life Science, University of Bialystok and research institutes.
Scientific and commissioned research of our nanocolloids in accredited laboratories confirmed the biocidal properties, concentration, purity and structure of nanoparticles used in our products.
The tests were performed in:

Our nanocolloids undergo regular quality tests performed internally and by independent laboratories.

MICROBIOLOGICAL TESTING
The tests confirmed biocidal effects of silver and copper as well as the lack of indicators sensitizing the skin in dermatological studies. Our products are subject to regular quality inspections and tests.
Silver nanocolloid at both 25 ppm and 5 ppm shows antibacterial properties in relation to the pathogens tested:
- Staphylococcus aureus (ATCC 6538)
- Pseudomonas aeruginosa (ATCC 15442),
- Escherichia coli (ATCC 8739),
- Enterococcus hirae (ATCC 10541).
In contact with solutions of metal nanoparticles, the cytoplasmic membrane of microorganisms loses the ability to selectively conduct eclectic signals, which disturbs the functioning of its cells.
Nanoparticles (eg silver) penetrate the cell and interfere with the functioning of the mitochondria and the cell nucleus. Bacteria cease to eat and excrete unnecessary metabolic products.
Microorganisms are unable to create immune mechanisms against nano colloids of silver and copper.
Cu copper colloid 25 ppm and 5 ppm has fungicidal properties against the Candida albicans pathogen (ATCC 10231). It clearly reduces the number of viable cells after one hour of contact.

DERMATOLOGICAL STUDIES
In extended dermatological contact tests (semi-open tests) it was shown that colloids used (as intended) by people who are allergic to metal contained in the colloid did not find any irritation or allergic reactions even in the group of people with a history of allergy.

PHYSICAL AND CHEMICAL STUDIES
Information on the size of nanoparticles was obtained after numerous tests on the transmission and scanning microscope.
Spektrochem’s research has also proved that colloid solutions based on our technology are non-ionic. At the Institute of Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences, we detected, by means of electron radiography (TEM), that our colloids have: extraordinary flat leaf structure, crystal form of single crystal type and FCC (face centered cubic) crystallographic structure typical of the group of copper, gold, silver, platinum, palladium, iridium and family. The size of the particles was finally determined to be less than 5 nanometers (50 Angstroms), our products contain 91% of particles with a range of 4-9 NM, average values A = 5.59 ± 4.09 nm
It has been proved that nano silver and copper preparations are chemically inert: nitric and hydrochloric acid, organic acids and certain oxidants (eg H2O2).
The tests also confirmed the low toxicity of the preparation at concentrations up to 10 ppm. Similar results were obtained by examining the effect of our preparations on: frogs, frogs (yellowbeak float) and mosquito larvae. In specialist studies conducted on bird embryos, the toxicity of the product to the concentration of 50 PPM was not found. In other specialist studies, no toxicity was noted; on the contrary, it was observed that under the influence of the preparation the studied birds (chickens and breeding pigeons) grow healthy and without the need to use antibiotics or strong biocides.
